       Redefining Politics

Forrest Gump may have been right when he said that “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get”, but if he had been talking about our political system he may have said “British politics is like a Carousel, it just goes round and round.  You always know what you’re gonna get”.

A merry-go-round from a Labour government to a Tory government (sometimes even  with a Lib/Dem input), then back to a Labour government – and so on so and on and……. from ‘Tax and spend’ to ‘Cuts and more cuts’ and then back to ‘Tax and spend’.  It’s all so predictable!  The colour may change but little else.  We now have a coalition government that nobody voted for.  The worst of all worlds!

Oh, they may fiddle around the edges and change the tax regimes up or even down a little but never, ever enough to actually do any good to the people who really suffer at the hands of these ‘Elite’ few who have only ever led a privileged existence of wealth with all of the trappings and advantages that such a life style brings. Privileges such as a ‘jolly good’ public school education, followed by jobs for the boys within the establishment, followed by a safe and secure seat in parliament.

Not for them the lottery of the state education system with it’s over crowded classes and non English speaking classmates.  Not for them the fear of being admitted to hospital for a minor operation and leaving in a coffin.  Or being starved of care or even food or water by nurses or doctors who are unable to make themselves understood.  Not for them the ice cold fear of losing their job and then their homes through no fault of their own but thanks to the actions of those privileged few who make the decisions that affect the lives of so many millions of real people.   Not for them even the same tax regulations as the rest of us!

Some things never change – well not for the better anyway.  Our politicians were so appalled by the expenses crisis that they rewrote the whole rule book to ensure that such fiddles would never happen again.  They can now claim for much more than previously, therefore there is no need for them to fiddle!  Duck House anyone?

It has long been said of the three major parties that it is not possible to place a cigarette paper between them and that the only way to tell the difference is by the colour of their ties.  At the last election, the people made their views very clear.  No one party gained enough votes to form a government on its own.  When you consider the damage that had been caused by the previous government, it should have been a straight win for the Tories.  But the truth of the matter is that the people had no confidence in either party.  The sad result is that we end up with the worst of all worlds, a coalition government.  A coalition which requires both parties to stand on their heads with regards to their manifestos.  To betray their basic beliefs for the chance of power.  To betray their supporters and the nation.  All for the promise of ‘power’.  I just hope it was worth it.The Conservative party has betrayed a huge swathe of its supporters.  Promises broken, commitments reneged on, supporters betrayed.  Supporters whose only reason for voting for them is because they simply cannot bring themselves to vote for Labour.  Others who feel so betrayed by the party to whom they have given perhaps many years of loyalty that they would prefer not to cast a vote at all or at worst will cast a strong protest statement by voting for such parties as the British National Party.

How many Lib Dem supporters actually believed Nick Clegg when he and his party signed the pledge and promised to cut student fee’s only to have their party not only renege on their commitment but to actually double those fee’s?   An almost obscene selling of their soul for the chance of a taste of power.  A pity that the party leader then forgets he is in charge of the nation!

How many former Labour supporters know that the responsibility for them losing their job and maybe much more, lay firmly at the door of New Labour.  Their own party, the party that is also responsible for destroying whole areas of the State education system and for setting new standards within the NHS, standards that unfortunately are so low that patients have actually starved to death in English Hospitals. Their own party which is responsible for the appalling situation the country is in and has put the coalition government in the   position where it feels it has to slash deep and hard into the country’s infrastructure.  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1336988/3-000-patients-starved-death-hospital-Labour.html

British politics are broken; indeed they are more than just broken, they have crashed and burned.  The experiment has failed.  Ever since the end of the Second World War, this country has declined in wealth, stature and self-respect.  But need it always be like this?  Must we always ride the carousal of British politics?  We need a political system that will serve the interests of the country and of the people.  A political system that represents the people it serves and does not self-serve the elite in their positions of privilege.  A political system that will put this country first above all others.

Yes, our politics have crashed and burned but just like the Phoenix rising from the ashes of a failed experiment, a whole new and redefined political movement is born.  A political system that will serve the country and her people not the elite. A political movement that will put this country first, above all others.

It is time for our politics to be redefined!  It is time for the future!

It is time for the Phoenix to rise from the ashes!  A truly democratic movement that is not responsible to the privileged and elitist leaders who pontificate from within their lofty towers of power, with little to no understanding of how the ‘real’ people live.  People who understand that it is wrong that people should die because of neglect or filth in our hospitals.  People who understand that it is wrong that the government can see no wrong in allowing our elderly to be abused in the last days of their lives.

People who understand that it is wrong that criminals should NOT be punished for their crimes and who understand that crime WILL increase on our streets with the reduction in the number of front line police officers.

People who understand that it is wrong to strip the defenses of our nation during a period when our country is more at risk than we were in 1940.  People who understand that today it is wrong to send the cream of our young people to fight wars that are of no concern to this country.  Wars that have costs the lives of hundreds of the cream of the nations future and £Billions on futile political wars that are being fought purely for personal political gain but at the same time throwing thousands of our hero’s onto the scrap heap – when they’ve finished fighting for their country of course!

People who understand that it is wrong that so many of our children are allowed to finish their education without the ability to read, write and communicate well enough to even be considered for employment.  People who understand that it is wrong for our young people to be condemned to a bleak future of unemployment.

Politics can be redefined.  The Phoenix is rising!  A movement of Common Sense.  A movement of ‘Real’ people with ‘Real’ lives.  A movement that embraces people from all aspects of the political spectrum.  A ‘Free’ movement that has no Party Whip to follow but will follow what the people want – not what the Party want!  A political home for those who are disillusioned with their old parties.  A political home for those who are sick and tired of being treated with utter contempt by those that consider themselves our betters but should consider themselves our servants!

There is so much wrong with our society and it has been so for too long and I am sure that you the reader can add many other wrongs to this list.  But little to nothing is ever done to really make a difference.

It really is about time that this situation was brought to a stop!  This country MUST be rescued from the clutches of the Left and its allies.  For nearly twenty years they have been overseeing the slow but steady destruction of our once great nation.  Today the United Kingdom is not only almost bankrupt thanks to the actions of politicians in which we had placed our trust but we are also a laughing stock on the world scene.

It was hoped that with the demise of New Labour that the situation would slowly change for the better but the truth is that we again have a government that is determined to sell the country out to foreign nations and a Prime Minister that is almost a clone of the last but one Prime Minister, a socialist who is determined to make his place in history using the same strategy as Blair by taking the country to war!

And waiting quietly in the wings, waiting ever so quietly for it all to come crashing down, is a Labour Party that is so far to the left it would not be out of place in the old Kremlin.  Waiting quietly to impose a form of Socialism on the UK that we have never, ever witnessed before in this country.

It is not just time to stop the rot to throw out the old and welcome the new; it is time to save the country.

BRITAIN IS BROKEN – You CAN Fix It!

Britain IS Broken.  Our politicians are just as corrupt as they were two years ago.  Once again they are on the take for as much as they can get.

We are broke but we can still give countries like Pakistan £65million for Education.  But WE need to cut our Education bill.

We can still go to war even though we are cutting our Armed Forces.

Britain is Broken but YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Watch out for the PHEONIX

This is NOT an English Democrats 1066 article.

Could WE have done better?

I was asked today that if my party was in office as the British government, just how would we have handled the Libyan situation any better than the current government.  Although the answer is much more complex than simply ‘sending a gunboat’ to the area, I didn’t have to think very long for an answer.

If my party had been in office, it would have been a simple matter of directing the Royal Navy to move into the Libyan coast in force and evacuate our nationals.  ‘In force’ means with enough air power to protect the fleet and with enough ground forces (Royal Marines) to facilitate the evacuation with the minimum conflict.

I was then asked how we would achieve that with the minimum resources that we now have.  This was the question that I was really waiting for!  The answer was that we would not be suffering from the criminally poor resources that our military are now suffering under.  We would never have implemented the savage cuts to the nation’s defence that the current government have imposed.

I accept that cuts in government spending are absolutely necessary – but it is where those cuts should be made that needs to be reconsidered.  Of course, politically correct and unnecessary Quangos would disappear as would all non-jobs in national and local government.  It is still not known how much this would save, therefore for the purposes of this exercise; we shall not take one penny of it into consideration.

The British nation hands over to a foreign power the sum of between £45 – £48 million every day, of every week, of every year.  That equates to an amazing £17.5 Billion per year.  As huge as that amount may appear, it is small fry to the amount that we give away in foreign aid, which is somewhere in the region of £500 Billion per year.  Some of this money goes to countries where it actually does some good but the vast majority of it goes to fund the lifestyles or increase the Swiss bank accounts of despot dictators or goes to countries that are perfectly rich enough to look after themselves, some of them even having their own space programmes and nuclear arsenals.

Foreign wars, which are of no concern to this country, cost us dearly – not only in simple money but in the much more costly expenditure of the lives of the flower of British youth.  Mere boys and girls mainly, who are simply doing what their country asks of them.  Not only would we save the hundreds of millions of pounds Sterling that these wars have cost the nation but we would save the lives of our soldiers, sailors and airmen who would then be free to perform the task of protecting these Isles and the people who live in them.

The scrapping of our naval and air defences is nothing short of treachery.  I use that world with careful consideration.  Throughout history it has been the practise of ‘throwing onto the beach’ the men who have fought England’s wars as soon as peace is attained.  Naturally this always meant that when the next war, with Napoleon or some other ‘Johnny Foreigner’ came alone, we were woefully unprepared each and every time.  That was the case right up to and including 1939 and the advent of the Second World War.

This time it is different.  The coalition government intends to bring all of our troop’s home from Afghanistan by 2015.  Whether that happens or not is of course dependant on whether this government keeps its word – and it does not have a very good track record of that.  Should that target be achieved however, they do intend to cut our army by another 20,000 troops.  That is one promise that they will keep!  That final cut will reduce our armed forces to the level we had in 1840.  That is ‘1840’ it is not a printing error.

The big difference is of course that we are not at peace!  The world is far more dangerous today than it ever has been.  The Cold War, when the Soviet Union faced us across an iron Curtain laced with nuclear missiles was a walk in the park compared to the situation the world is facing today.  We, and every other Western nation, are surrounded by enemies, many of whom are within our own borders.  With the collapse of the Soviet Union, there is an abundance of nuclear devices that have simply disappeared along with some of the people with the know-how to manufacture more.

Many countries are naturally aware of this and are taking steps to increase their military capability.

Countries such as Russia, which is embarking on a massive naval rebuilding programme.   Countries such as Communist China, which whilst the backs of the world were turned away fighting the ‘War on Terror’, was quietly beavering away and developing a naval force that is today capable of taking on the US Navy in the Pacific.

Communist China, the country that was able to send in enough military and naval hardware to ‘spirit away’ 12,000 of their nationals from Libya, whilst the response from the British is for Cameron to immediately go stomping into a most delicate situation in the Middle East to try and sell even more weapons to them, at the same time as our Deputy Prime Minister, Clegg, decides that as it’s half term, he will go on holiday with the kids and ‘forget’ that he is supposed to be running the country!

Whilst the Chinese use their Mediterranean Fleet for this superb rescue effort, the British manage to divert our one remaining warship in the Med, from its final journey home to the scrap yard, to Benghazi where it waits off shore because it might be too dangerous, until her captain loses patience and enters port on his own decision.  Instead of being congratulated when he gets home, he will probably be reprimanded!

Countries like Australia.  Which has recently purchased two helicopter/assault carriers from the US and has carried out joint naval exercises with the US and other Asian naval fleets, specifically designed to counter the new threat from China.

Other countries, far less stable than even Col Gadafi’s Libya such as North Korea, which has its own nuclear capability.  Has test fired missiles that have travelled across Japan – an obvious message to anyone who cares to listen that they have the means to deliver those nuclear warheads – and an insane dictator!

Iran, busily working to develop its own nuclear capability and has vowed to wipe from the map, the one democracy in the Middle East Israel.  It also spends its petrol dollars funding extremists and terrorists the world wide.

Against this background the British government wield savage cuts where they should least be cutting.  Is that ‘Prudence’ or is it ‘Treachery’?

So, the answer to the original question was ‘Yes, we would have handled it better.  After all it’s only Common Sense’.  My questioner went away without another word, but he did have a thoughtful expression on his face!

Am I worthy?

When I stood for parliament last May, one of the criticisms levelled against me was that I have no experience of either politics or of running a country.  The suggestion was that it would be far better to have a person who has experience of the rough and tumble of political life in control of the country.  A person who is used to moving in the ‘right circles’.  A person who would be at ease with the leaders of industry, commerce and indeed the leaders of other nations.

There may be some sense in this after all, who am I?  Until I retired and found that as I was no longer a ‘wage slave’ I had the time to get involved in politics, I was just that.  I would get up early each morning knowing that if I succumbed to the temptation of bunking off work for the day, I would have problems stretching my money even further at the end of the month.  I would do my days labour and return to the bosom of my family and the bills that had landed on the doormat after I had left in the morning.  Part of my evening would be spent in deep meaningful conversation with my wife as to how we would be able to meet those bills without the children suffering and going without.

I would also try to keep the news from my wife that I might possibly be losing my job because the company to which I had given my all and done my best to help prosper, was having to cut back.  There was no point in making her worry until it was necessary.  We could both still remember when this happened to us the last time and I did lose my job.  The feeling of absolute dread in my stomach when I awoke each morning.  The feeling of worthlessness as I went to the Job Centre each day and stood in line to be hopefully thrown a scrap by one of the ‘Advisors’ who treated me almost with the respect of an unpleasant item just found on the bottom of their shoe.  No, I wasn’t going to bring those memories back to life for her until it became a reality.

Then there was the letter from the school, saying that our son was not reaching the required level of reading despite the hard work that my wife was putting into helping him.  When I asked him why this was, he said that the teacher didn’t often work with him, because of the new children in his class of 37 who couldn’t speak any English took all of her time.

My wife’s father is in hospital and we have to make sure that somebody visits him every day, to ensure that the patch of blood on the floor by his bed that has been there for three days, has finally been cleaned up and that he has actually eaten the meal that was given to him and not left out of reach and then taken away.  The poor old chap spent his time on the Artic convoys during WWII, fighting for his life against the elements as well as the enemy.  As an anti aircraft gunner he was open to attack by both on a very regular basis.  He was lucky – he survived the war but the question and the fight now is – will he survive the NHS?

Even going to see Dad is difficult and expensive, the buses have stopped running by the time we come home so it’s a car job.  And the expense of the hospital car park!  It all adds up and places extra pressure on an already delicate financial situation.  If only I didn’t have so many stoppages!  Tax is ridiculous.  VAT has put everything up. Petrol is criminal – over two thirds of the cost of a litre goes straight to the government, and THEY have the temerity to blame the oil companies.  Perhaps if I pull out of my pension plan I might be able to stretch it a bit further, but what of the future?  If I live that long!  It’s a gamble isn’t it?  Do I survive long enough to become another burden on the state or do I do the decent thing and die the day after I stop contributing?

No I have no experience of High politics or of running the country, let’s leave it to the experts shall we?

That would be the experts who are all millionaires in their own right, so they can make the decisions to cut jobs and benefits that will damage people beyond belief.  They are above that, they are immune.  This is the same expert millionaires who accept free holidays from foreigners and spend their time on their luxury yachts.  The same expert millionaires who manage to avoid paying UK tax on their personal fortunes whilst I have to pay all of my dues.

The same experts who have driven the country almost to collapse.  Spending money that they do not have, not only spending it but literally throwing it away on stupid schemes and giving it away to other nations, some of whom don’t even want it.  £1 billion to India for example.  India – a country that has more billionaires than the UK, its own nuclear arsenal and its own space programme.  They surely need it!  Well, no they don’t actually – and they told our leaders that they didn’t want it, but we insisted!  Isn’t that nice?

The same experts who can’t even arrange to rescue our own countrymen from a civil war in Libya without making us a laughing stock in front of the world.  The same experts who manage to wangle a nice number out of the blue as Deputy Prime Minister and even then say he’s working too hard so has to take a holiday in Switzerland just as the Prime Minister is out of the country trying to sell even more weapons to the Arabs so that they can kill each other!

No, when you put it like that, I have no experience.  But do you know what?  I think that’s a good thing.

This country needs a government of REAL people.  REAL people who understand the effects of the decisions that a government takes.  REAL people who have not been tainted by the greed and corruption that is still most prevalent in the corridors of power.  REAL people who understand the meaning of the word HONESTY.

REAL people who will put their country and her people before themselves and not the other way around.

Yes, there may be a few rough diamonds in amongst them but a crook is still a crook even if he talks with a plumb in his mouth.

“It’s OK, it’s a cultural thing”

You may have seen the documentary on brutality at Islamic schools shown by Channel 4, recently.

The programme concentrated on young children regularly being beaten by their teacher and just how Muslims are being taught to mix with us Infidels.

For those of you that have not had the pleasure, please follow this link

http://www.facebook.com/l/c2e1ds15BNAho744-woAqjd6Srg;www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/episode-guide/series-80/episode-1

Naturally there has been some reaction to this programme today.  Some of it is justifiably worried by the contents but the most amazing response comes from MP John Hemming who reckons that the programme was ‘irresponsible’ and had actually ‘put children at risk’.  He goes on to suggest that the ‘Far Right’ are needlessly stirring up racial tensions by a) investigating this incident and b) broadcasting the programme.

I must admit that I am rather confused by this statement as first of all I was not aware that Channel 4 is a ‘Far Right’ outfit, and secondly, isn’t this a little like blaming the burglar alarm  because the burglars were caught?

Surely you should be grateful that the alarm went off in the first place?  And were not the burglars the one’s who were in the wrong and NOT the alarm?

Surely this could not be another case of ‘It’s OK if it’s Muslims doing it?

It reminds me of a few years ago now when I had Muslim neighbours.  I was aware that the mother used to hit the children because I could hear it.  The final straw came one day when I actually saw her whipping them with a cane in the back garden.  I called the NSPCC immediately, to be told ‘It’s OK, it’s a cultural thing’.

TREACERY IS AFOOT – and this time its not Guy Fawkes!

Throughout history, the government of these islands has held the responsibility for the security and well being of the people of the United Kingdom. For the last 200 – 300 years it has managed a pretty good standard of achievement in that responsibility.

Not only have the people witnessed foreign aggressors who have attempted to conquer and control the country, retreat with a bloody nose but we have also shared our democracy, engineering skills, administration systems and law to the four corners of the globe. Slowly the ordinary people, the people who actually did the hard work and fought the wars for the elite few who were in charge, have gained from the growth of wealth.

Today, every home has electricity and indoor ‘lavs’; the vast majority are on the telephone and broadband Internet is common place. Many children have their own mobile phones and computers. Most families have at least one car, many have two or even more as the children gain their own financial independence. The wealth generated by her people has enabled the country to provide a safe and secure land in which to live. Safe from outside aggression, thanks to our superb Armed Forces. Safe to enjoy life in the knowledge that our streets are safe from wrongdoers. Safe in the knowledge that our education system will provide well balanced, educated intelligent young people ready to take over the reins of the nation when their time arrives and in whichever field they choose. Most importantly her people are confident that their government, in which they put their trust, will continue to ensure that before all else, they will be looking after the interests of THIS country and her people.

It would be sad if the efforts and sacrifices of past generations were to be squandered by modern day politicians and any of the benefits that our forefathers struggled so hard and for so long for us to enjoy, were lost. It would indeed be ‘SAD’ if that were to happen. But if our government were to ‘deliberately’ throw away even one of those benefits, it would be criminal. But what if a British government were to ‘deliberately’ throw away, not one – but all of the benefits listed – that would be more than criminal – that would be TREACHERY.

Gleefully continuing the task of dismantling the United Kingdom brick by brick, that was initially started by Tony Blair, the Coalition government of Cameron and Clegg, are surging ahead with that destruction.

The defence of the nation stands in tatters. Whilst our service people continue to fight an unnecessary war in Afghanistan which has cost 350 lives so far, the British government effectively disbands the Royal Navy’s ability to defend itself from air attack. The immediate decommissioning of the Flag Ship HMS Ark Royal, long before her replacement is ready, is more than stupidity – it is treachery. Her replacement, which was initially meant to be TWO modern aircraft carriers, has not yet been built. Both of them WILL be built, at enormous cost but one of them will immediately be sold. Probably at a knock down price and possibly to a future enemy. Even when she is ready for service, the new ship will not have any aircraft available to fly from her decks because the British government has dismantled the RN’s fleet of aircraft! In the meantime, the Royal Navy is to be placed under the control of the FRENCH!   TREACHERY.

At the same time as the Royal Navy is being decimated, the Royal Air Force is also being attacked. Squadrons of aircraft currently deployed in the defence of this country are being scrapped, to be replaced with – well, NOTHING. One of the most amazing aircraft in the world, the Nimrod is being cut up into little pieces by chainsaw as I write this. The Nimrod is capable of surveillance not only of enemy territory but also of the sea lanes and coastal waters of the UK. She is used not only to provide a protective umbrella to our submarines but also to aid in the rescue of seamen at risk. Many, many servicemen and civilians are alive today thanks to the capabilities of the Nimrod.

The surviving Royal Air Force will be equivalent to the Belgian air force in numbers but, as with the Royal Navy, will come under the control of the Eurodefence Force and NOT the British government.

The United Kingdom is an island nation and depends on the sea lanes being kept open by the RN and the RAF in the event of conflict. To allow an enemy to strangle our jugular vein of those supply lines would hasten the collapse of the nation immensely. TREACHERY.

What is the reality of Law and Order in the United Kingdom today? Should you believe the figures published by the British government, you would understand that crime rates are falling. Should however you choose to believe the TRUE figures, you would understand that the real crime rate is actually rising. Figures can be manipulated and police officers are under pressure to list incidents as ‘non-crime’ wherever they can get away with it. Ordinary people who suffer ‘minor’ crimes have lost all confidence in the police’s ability. Gun crime, knife crime, drugs abuse, sexual attacks – including against children – are all on the increase. Car crime is down because of improved security of cars, but this has been replaced by burglary attacks against the home and ‘carjacking’ offences. Anti Social Behaviour is growing with town centres becoming ‘No Go’ areas for normal decent people during the evenings because of drunken young people running riot, many of them underage.

Should you decide to take up a life of crime, the chances are that you will go undetected. The majority of crimes are never solved and at a time when society is falling apart, the numbers of front line police officers are to be reduced. TREACHERY.

However, should you be unfortunate – or stupid enough – to actually get caught, the Human Rights Act will ensure that the law is on your side as opposed to your victim. If you suffer even more misfortune and you are actually found guilty of your offence, the chances of being sent to prison are very remote. For one, the government are closing down prisons and besides, who is the victim here? Why it’s you of course, the criminal! You are misunderstood and require help, support and understanding and benefits to help with your ‘habit’.

Despite all of this – should the judge be having a really bad day and be one of the very few who believe that there are people out there who are just rotten and deserve to be in jail – and you do actually get ‘sent down’, try not to worry. Take comfort in the fact that you will have your own room, three square meals a day, opportunity to keep fit in the gymnasium, ample social time to mix with your fellow guests, telephone calls, access to a lawyer, your own TV and even computer and the staff have to call you ‘Mr’. In an open prison, you will be able to bring in alcohol and even ‘ladies’ in the sure knowledge that there are so few prison officers on duty that you probably will go for days without seeing one. As with the police, the numbers of prison officers are also to be reduced. TREACHERY.

ARE THE ENGLISH DEMOCRATS SET (OR FIT) TO FILL THE VOID?

The State of British Politics in 2011

There was a time when you could rely on the Conservative party being for the merchants’ and the middle classes, the Labour party was for the ‘workers’ and the Liberals were for the err, well everyone else who didn’t fancy the other two!

Today there is a huge void in British politics, right where the old THREE PARTY SYSTEM used to be.  A huge empty political hole that’s just waiting to be filled.   Imagine if another political group could determine what was missing and provide those missing bits, they could step straight into their shoes.  A party that is neither on the Right nor the Left, but firmly on the side of the English.

England; the only nation in the United Kingdom that does not have its own parliament.  England; the only nation in Europe that does not have its own parliament.

England:  The only country that suffers injustices and is discriminated against because of this.  Injustices such as –

Do you have children hoping to go to university – is it fair that we English will have to pay £9,000 for our children to go to university?

Do you have parents creating wealth for the British State only to have that same state destroy their pensions?  And who may now have to sell everything they have worked for to fund their own aged care?  They are treated far, far better in Scotland because you, the English taxpayer pays for it!

The English Democrat manifesto is crammed full of just the type of issues that the old conservatives used to appreciate – Issues like:

Europe.  We pay £45million PER DAY to the European Community.  How many schools in Devon or Norfolk will that sort of money build?  How many hospital beds in Somerset or Lancashire will that sort of money fund?

How many Post Offices, both rural and urban, would that sort of money keep open?  Do you remember the old Post Offices?  The centre of the community in the majority of cases.  How much more are our rural communities going to have to suffer because of European Community Directives?

Do you want out of the EU?  So do the English Democrats.  It is committed to a referendum on this issue and WILL listen to what the people say.  Unlike David Cameron, who promised a referendum until he was in power and then reneged on that promise.

Defence:   A strong defence force which will continue to retain our own independent nuclear deterrent.  Do you think that we should be fighting wars for other nations – or should we be defending our own shores?  Should we be putting the interests of our nation at risk by scrapping our capitol warships – or should HMS Ark Royal stay in service at least until her replacement is ready?  Should we be reducing our once proud Royal Air Force to the status of the Belgian Air Force – or should we be maintaining our own ability to defend our own skies?

Education:   Should we be allowing a Politically Correct culture to dumb down the education system for our children – or should we have an education system that produces people capable of carrying the nation forward to great achievements in the future?

Should we settle for mediocrity in our schools, where everybody is the same – or should we have an education system that recognises that people DO have different capabilities and that those who are able to shine, SHOULD be encouraged and supported to do just that.

Immigration:  Should we allow unlimited immigration from within the EU – or should we insist that anyone coming into this country is needed, qualified, can support themselves, can speak English and will give allegiance to the Crown?

The Coalition has put a cap on the number of immigrants from outside of the EU only.  The British government has NO control over the number of EU residents who want to come to this country.

The Health Service:  Do you think that the NHS is a Sacred Cow and should always be allowed to simply absorb money – or should it be controlled with a priority placed on nursing and care as opposed to bureaucracy?  Is it right that despite the vast amounts of money invested into the service that people STILL die in filthy wards?  Still we suffer from nurses leaving because they can no longer accept that they are NOT there to care for people but to meet targets?  How much confidence would you have in your medical practitioner if that individual can hardly string together a full sentence in English?

Law & Order:   With the crime rate climbing, can you see any sense in the Coalition government drastically cutting the number of Police Officers and support staff?  Can you understand the eagerness of the Justice Minister wanting to close THREE prisons – or do you believe, as we do, that some people are just so rotten that they DESERVE to be in jail?  Do you believe that criminals need to be ‘helped and supported’ as Cameron & Clegg think – or do you think that , as we do, the VICTIM should be helped and supported and that the punishment should fit the crime?

Is it justifiable for prisoners to riot and destroy an open prison because the staff wanted to breathalyse some of them – or should it not be possible to smuggle drugs, booze and women into a prison?

David Cameron’s hero is Tony Blair, and that is with his own admission.  He is proud of the fact that he models himself on Blair, again his admission.  Cameron is NOT a conservative.  Cameron IS a Liberal.  The Liberals promised that they would fight for free university education and the majority of them even signed the pledge to that effect.  But one whiff of ‘power’ and they also reneged on this and other promises.

I could go on but you get my drift.  So what is stopping the English Democrats from filling that void?  What is stopping them from taking on the mantle from the Old Conservative Party, and filling that ‘huge political hole’ that has opened up?

To get to this answer I need first to ask you another question.  What response do you invariably get from the public when you say that you are from the English Democrats?  No, I don’t mean when they say ‘Who?’ – I mean when they say ‘You’re just like the BNP aren’t you?’ or ‘Are you racist then?’

But why do they ask those questions? The answer is unfortunate but true.  It is because we have the word ‘English’ in our title and because we proudly fly the Cross of St George, both of which have been kidnapped over the years by racists and the right wing.  Some people still associate our flag with scenes of hooliganism at football matches etc.  The PC and anti English brigade have done a superb job of dirtying the name and the flag of our nation, which leaves us the task of spending the first five minutes or so of practically each and every political conversation we have with the public trying to persuade them (with mixed results) that we are not rabid fascists.  I have even had a CofE vicar from a local church call me ‘right-wing’ as he stood below the tower of his church which was proudly flying the Cross of St George.  Even when this was pointed out to him, he could not see the irony of it!

So, what is the solution?  Well, it could be something very simple BUT if it were to happen, it would require a giant leap of faith by Party members.  First, we need to ask ‘Where do we want to be in five years time?’  My answer to that is an emphatic ‘We want to be in Office’.  I didn’t join this party to ‘play’ at politics; we want to be able to change the direction that England is being quietly dragged down by the Lib/Lab/Con party.  It would be nicer to be able to say that she is being dragged ‘kicking and screaming’ but she is not.  How many pleas to the people have you made for them to wake up and smell the coffee?

I believe that the answer could simply be a change in our name.  Change the name of the party to reflect where we want to be.  And where exactly do we want to be?  We want to be in Office of course.

I realise that it is asking a great deal but be honest, how long is it going to take us to persuade the majority of people that we are not those rabid fascists, in the face of a hostile media?

I joined the English Democrats because I wanted to help save my country from destruction, for the sake of my grandchildren – not for me.  I believe that we will stand a much better chance if we quietly adopt a more recognised title that people will feel comfortable with as opposed to being perceived as antagonistic.  The aims of the party will remain the same, we must still argue for an English Parliament, even though we could become a UK wide party.

The results from Oldam are depressing on a number of fronts.  It amazes me that ANYONE can still vote for the Labour party, let alone increase their majority!  However the biggest shock to me was the share of the vote that the English Democrats won.  You will see from the table below that despite the supreme efforts of Stephen and his team in Oldham (it was the first time we have stood there and in no way can it reflect on them); we still managed to win ONE LESS vote than the Monster Raving Looney Party!  That is truly awful and we need to learn something from that – and soon.

I don’t believe that we can take any solace from the fact that we beat the Bus-Pass Elvis Party.

I love my country and my flag with a passion.  I fear for my country, as I fear for my grandchildren and I am sure that every member of this Party feels exactly the same way.  I wonder if it is not more sensible to put the word ‘English’ away somewhere very safe, until we are in a position of strength, when we will be able to start changing people’s perception of our country and our flag.  To rebuild the pride that once was so prevalent.

The Conservative Party is full of discontented members, including MPs and supporters, so now are the Lib/Dems.  Within 12/24 months we could be thinking seriously about forming the next government.  The future for England could be much brighter and a lot sooner than we thought possible.  I am becoming more and more convinced that we need to change our name and make an all out effort to capture that ground vacated by the Conservative Party.

I must stress that I am not intending to abandon ‘England’ – far from it.  I would put my life on the line for her if necessary, I’ve done it before.  Quite simply, I do not believe that we will make that breakthrough whilst we are still painted as ‘Extreme Right Wing’ etc because of the use of the name of our country.  However, if we were able to capture that vacant ground, we could be in a position to really achieve our goals, which surely is why we are in this party in the first place.  We would probably attract donations and funding a lot easier as well and if it means that we had to take control of the ‘British’ government in the process, then I could live with that.

I do not want this cause to go the same way as the BNP!

What about a suitable name?  I have a couple of suggestions for a name but this is where I am having difficulty.  Some suggestions are;

The New Democratic Conservative Party.    Well the ‘New’ worked for Labour but will the Democratic remind people of the Lib Dems and all that they stand for – if anyone’s figured that out yet!

The Real Conservatives.    But then there are also a great number of Labour supporters who are disillusioned with their party but would never consider voting ‘Conservative’.

The Independent Democrats.   Possibly the best suggestion so far.  It does what it says on the tin.  A ‘Free’ party that will represent the people – democratically.

What do you think?

Once Upon A Time

 A Fable of Two Countries?

Not very far away in the future, there is a country called ‘Angloistan’   Angloistan wasn’t always called by this name it used to be called a different name.  It used to be called England, it was a very merry land and all of the people that lived in it were happy.  Some of those people were rich and some of them were poor but they all loved one thing the same, and that was England.  England was a proud Country that had existed for over 1,000 years and the people were also very proud that it had helped teach the people of many other lands how to run their countries by themselves and that they had given them such treasures as Democracy, Freedom, Law and a Parliamentary system.

One day England joined a great big club that was made up of many different lands.  All of the people of these lands spoke different languages to the people of England but that didn’t matter because everyone was happy.  The club was called The Common Market.  It wasn’t really just a market place but it meant that everyone could sell their wares to each other without having to pay lots of money to do so.  The Leader of England was a very powerful man who was called Mr Heath and he had lots of teeth and used to shake his shoulders when he laughed, which was often. But although he was very powerful and most of the people loved him, he was really a nasty leader because he lied to his people and cheated on them.  But they didn’t know that for many, many years – and some people don’t even know that today!

One day Mr Heath went to his people with his biggest grin and said to them “We have joined this club called the Common Market and it will help us sell all of the things that you make to the people of other lands who are also in the club.  Do you want us to stay in it or do you want us to leave?”  Everybody thought for a moment and said “If Mr Heath says it is good for us all, then it must be good for us”.  Most of the people were happy to stay in the club but some of them were worried that the people in charge of the other lands would start telling the people of England what to do and making them pay lots of money to the Common Market.  But Mr Heath laughed and shaking his shoulders up and down said “No, I promise you that we will only be selling our wares to them and they will sell their wares to us, nobody else will tell us what to do”.

The people were worried because many, many years before, there had been a great big war, when some really nasty people called Nazi’s wanted to rule over everyones lands.  Some of those lands were in the EU club now and even the country that was ruled by the Nazi’s and the very nasty little man with a very funny moustache, was in the EU club.  Then England sent all of her brave soldiers and they chased all of the nasty soldiers away and made them stop their fighting.  The people believed that Mr Heath was an honest man and they believed him and were very happy.  Most of them said they wanted to stay in this very special club.  Of course, the people shouldn’t have believed a word that Mr Heath said because he was a ‘politician’ and it was not for many years that people realised that politicians are liars.

So it happened that slowly all of the things that England held dear and loved very much were taken away from her and the people who were in charge of the Common Market even told the people of England what they could do and what they couldn’t and even what they couldn’t think.  They changed the name of the club from the Common Market to the European Union, or the EU as people called it.  This of course cost England a lot of money and each day the tax collectors from the EU.  They had to collect so much money that they needed a lot of sacks because they collected £43m each and every day.  That is a lot of money, isn’t it?

The people didn’t realise what was going on because they were busy watching Eastenders and the X Factor on their televisions and they thought they were happy.  Every four or five years the people were asked if they wanted to keep the Leader they had or whether they wanted a new one.  Sometimes they said they wanted to keep the one they had and sometimes they wanted somebody new.  What the people didn’t realise of course was that no matter who they said they wanted to lead them it didn’t make any difference and they still belonged to the EU club and they were still being told what to do by them.

One day the people chose a man who they thought was nice.  His name was Tony Blair.   But Tony was also a politician and although he had a lovely smile and the people thought he was nice, he was really a very, very nasty man.  He spent lots and lots of the peoples money.  He even sent Englands soldiers to fight in lands very far away.  He didn’t send them to help other people in those lands, he sent them so that he could make lots and lots of money.  Which he did.

When he had made lots and lots of money and he thought he might get caught, he made somebody else be the leader of England and he went away to get even more.  The man that he made be the new leader, was somebody called Mr Brown.  Now Mr Brown was a very silly man as well a being a nasty man like all politicians, he spent even more of the peoples money than there was in the coffers.  He spent it on paying people to stay at home and not go to work.  He spent lots and lots of money by giving it to other lands, most of which didn’t need it and of course he still spent a lot of it in the country’s where our soldiers were still being made to fight because wars cost a lot.

One of the other silly things that the silly Mr Brown did was ask lots of people to come and live in England from countries.  Lots and lots of those people came to live in England but they were worried because they were very, very poor.  But Mr Brown said “Don’t worry, come here and we will give you a house to live in, we will buy you lots of furniture to put in the house and we will give you lots and lots of money to spend.  Don’t worry if you have some horrible disease or you are ill in any way because we will make you better.  We will even educate your children, even if it means we can’t educate our own”.  Many of the people said “But we have no jobs how can we earn any money?”  Mr Brown said “Oh that doesn’t matter, as long as you vote for me, it will be ok”.

Well, as you can imagine, thousands and thousands and thousands of people came to live in England.  Many of the people came from the lands that our soldiers were fighting in.  These people were called Muslims.  Some of them didn’t really want to just live here, they wanted to make England theirs.  They didn’t speak the same language as the English and they didn’t want to bother to learn but the silly Mr Brown just paid for someone to translate what they said.  They built their own churches, called mosque’s, sometimes they even used an old English church as their Mosque and built car parks where the English people had buried their ancestors.  Of course they dug up the dead bodies first and made them be buried somewhere else.

They even brought their own law with them called Sharia Law.  Of course England had her own law, which was very simple.  The old English law simply said that you musn’t steal from anyone or kill anyone, in fact you must not do anything that will hurt anyone.  These things are very horrible things to do and most people thought that was right.  This law was called ‘Common Law’ – a bit like the Common Market – do you remember?  Of course the law had changed a lot since England joined the EU club but nobody noticed and also they certainly didn’t realise that it was being changed again by the silly people who believed in Political Correctness.  English people have always believed in ‘Fair play’ and ‘Doing the Right Thing’ and they trusted their government to do what was best for them, and besides ‘I’m a Celebrity’ was on the telly!

One day, the Justice Minister of England, who was a Muslim, was at a meeting that was for all of his Muslim friends. There was almost 2,000,000 of the Ministers fellow Muslims living in England.  On this day the Minister told his Muslim friends that they already had four members of Parliament and that after the Elections that were due soon, he hoped that there would be ten Muslim MPs. Indeed, the Minister was so enthusiastic that he said that by the year 2030, the whole Government of England would be Islamic!

Now some of the Muslims who lived in England were called ‘Extremists’ and they were really nasty people as well.  They used to bomb trains and buses and cut people’s heads off and horrible things like that.  They wanted to make England a Muslim country.  But do you know that they really needn’t have hurt anyone, because Muslims have so many babies that very soon there will be more Muslims than anyone else.  Now of course having lots of babies costs a lot of money but that didn’t matter because the silly English people, who were still watchin X Factor, paid for the babies.

Now of course when this comes about, which is only about 50 years away, all of the native people living in England, will suddenly have to obey the new laws of Islam.  Islamic laws are different from English laws in many ways. Remember that English law is very simple – don’t do anything to hurt anyone – whereas Islam has some interesting laws like the one that says that women are second class citizens.  This means that if you are a girl you will have to wear special clothes that cover all of your body – even your face.  You will have to do as you are told by your husband.  You will have to remember that you are not as important as a man and if a man was to do something really terrible to you, like rape you, you would have to have a witness say they saw it happen before you were believed in court.  Because girls are not as important as men, it takes the word of two women to be equal to one man.

Some girls may think that these laws are too strict and might not obey them, but there will be special Islamic police, just like there are in Islamic countries today.  These policemen will tell the naughty girls off and may also punish them.  They whip them in the street with long thin sticks that really, really hurt.  Lots of Isamic punishments are very different from what the people of Old Merry England were used to. For instance, if the wife of an Englishman should fall in love with another man, her husband might say that he didn’t want to be married to her anymore and divorce her and she would no longer be his wife.  In the new Islamic Republic of England, the wife would be buried up to her chest in a hole in the ground and then other men will throw great big heavy stones at her until she is dead.

Of course, not everybody is the same.  Some men love other men more than women and of course some women love other women more than men. These people are called ‘Gays’. In the Old England, this was not a problem and many people were gay and lived quite happily together and nobody minded.

In the New Islamic Republic of England, Gays will not be a problem either because the Muslims will have killed them all. They prefer to do this by throwing them over a cliff but if they cannot find a cliff they will cut their heads off or stone them to death.

Now of course, all of these strange laws may upset some of the English and they may want to protest on the streets and sometimes these protests can be very angy indeed, just like when the students protested. The government will want to stop these people who are very cross, so they will tell the police to stop them. If the people are very, very cross with the government they may not listen when they are told to go home and the Police might have to shoot some of them. This of course would make the people even more cross with the government and some might start fighting with the police and might even shoot some of them! This is called a ‘Riot’ or even ‘Serious Civil Disobedience’.  In the old days the police would try to persuade the people not to be so angry and to go home but they are not the same policemen now. You see, the English Police do not exist any more as they were all joined together with the Europian Police.

So what do you think the Islamic Government of England would do then? Well its really quite simple, they would call for the soldiers to stop the naughty people. But don’t worry, the soldiers will not be English soldiers they, will be soldiers from one of the other countries that belong to the EU club. All of the English soldiers will be as far away as possible in one of the other European countries in case they are told to shoot the people who live there. You must remember of course the English Army and Air Force (called the RAF) were all formed into one European Defence force. The Government didn’t like the Navy so they just closed it down and gave all of their warships to other big Muslim countries like Iran because they didn’t have big warships like nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers. The Iranians needed all of these big boats for when they went to war with the ‘Evil Satan’ who lived across the other side of the big sea in America.

So there you are, by the year 2060 England will become a true Islamic nation and there will be no more nonsense such as democracy or freedom of choice or elections, which only makes things complicated and difficult for the Government. And we all know that the Government knows what’s best for us, don’t we?

Everybody will then live happily ever after – well the Muslims will but the English, and that means ALL of them including those that came here from other countries but were not Muslims, might still a bit cross, but don’t worry – the Government will kill all of them that dare say anything.  England is no more – it is now called Angloistan.

Now off to sleep like good little Britons and no nightmares.

But in the morning – for God’s sake WAKE UP!

England IS a Police State

I recently wrote about the totally unjustified arrest of one of the leaders ofthe EDL – Guramit Singh – following a speech he made at Peterborough.  As I said at the time, his words were somewhat ‘forcefull’ but considering the fact that the day on which his speech was made was the anniversary of the death of his grandfather, who died fighting for this country, his words were justified.

Another of the EDL leaders to fall foul of the ‘Full Weight of the Law’, is Tommy Robinson.  Answering the door to armed police officers, having control of your finances seized to the extent that you have to ask permission to spend any of your own money, effectively stopping you from carrying out your lawful business and earning your living, appears to be the way that the British government is going to deal with ‘Crims’ such as Mr Robinson.

What is his crime?  Supporting his country in her hour of need!  If that is a crime in modern day Britain then I, along with many other patriots must expect a knock on the door also.   I wonder if before they come for me whether they will hold a community meeting to reassure my neighbours that there is no animosity felt towards them.  Or whether the police dogs will have little ‘booties’ on to prevent them from sullying my home.  The KGB and the Gestapo could learn a great deal from the British police and government, who are there of course to ‘Serve’ the people of this once great nation.

Below are two video’s for your perusal.  The first is by Tommy Robinson himself who will explain exactly what has happened, and the second is by ‘Andy’ who asks the question ‘Why’.

England IS a Police State

The English Defence League recently held a march protesting against Sharia law being introduced into the United Kingdom.  One of its members who spoke at that meeting, also appeared on a BBC Radio Cambridge programme and his interview is available for you to hear, below.

The name of this speaker who represents this organisation is Guramit Singh.  Mr Singh is a Sikh, which does go someway to disproving the ‘Bigoted, Fascist and Racist’ reputation that has been plastered onto the EDL by the Loony Left and their lackeys in the British government.  Unfortunately, Mr Singh has been arrested by Cambridgeshire police.  He has been charged under Section 4b Public Order Act, Racial Aggravation. The usual bail conditions apply for any member of the EDL that is arrested: he can’t speak at any EDL events. He is due to appear at Huntingdon Police Station on the 5th January 2011.

It seems that nobody in authority has the intelligence to understand that to criticise Islam is not a ‘Racist’ action whatsoever.  Should I criticise my neighbour who may be a Roman Catholic because of his beliefs, would that make me a racist?  Of course not.  But these are the idiots that we entrust with enforcing our laws.  Indeed, Islam is not even a religion, it is an ideology.

Listen to the interview and make up your own mind.  Mr Singhs views on the subject of Islam are strong, but are they illegal?  The answer to that is – if it is illegal to talk the truth – then yes, it is.

Be careful what you think my friends because they will be coming after you for that next.
